Hello viewers. Iam revathi@priya ravi from Kuala lumpur, Malaysia.

Born and brought up in Karaikudi, a place very famous for its chettinad cuisine, cooking was never my interest till megha was born. As her dad , she is a picky eater. If the recipe lacks any one of these – appearance, color,smell or taste its sure to be unfinished at the plates. She likes to have noodles and pasta, but says no to spaghetti. On my search to healthy, colorful and tasty recipes for megha, I came across few blogs which slowly developed my passion for cooking and baking. While i worked in India, i didnt get enough time to try out those recipes. But after moving to Malaysia, i took job as a full-time housewife and started experimenting my skills in cooking and baking. I like to prepare my own version of recipes with the things available at home.

Other than cooking , i like to stitch and do embroidery. My mom is very good at stitching and maybe she passed her little bit of goodness to me. She never taught me how to do. But all i have learnt so far is from the observation. Today,my 3 yr old daughter megha is the model for my creations.

My interest in blogging came from my husband Ravi, who was once a serious blogger. But with his office work pressure these days, he has confined himself to photo-blogging. Yes no worries about the content make up , just post the photo shots and u r done for the day. I got serious lessons from him when he bought me this domain – “content is more important than looks”.  But i believe both are equally important for any website. That’s where our own wordpress themes came up – rainyclouds theme for megha’s website and colorsandspices theme for this website. Yet more to come.

On a short note this website is all about recipes and designs -  from inspiration to creation.
